Much has happened since I have last felt the urge to update this nifty little thing. My current condition of being sick and dying has encouraged me to do something more productive than switch cold compresses on my body. Wahoo!
My birthday was June 12 and there was a get together at my place and it was mucho fun. Thank you to allll of you who came to make it fantastic (and to those of you who couldnt come but sent good suprises!) I got lots of cool stuff to put in this new apartment. And my girls are so sweet; they even got Jeffrey scrub brushes! How thoughtful!
Speaking of apartment business, we have one now which is good news. That means I can stop stressing about being homeless this semester. Second floor, end unit, me so excited!
I also went to visit Jeffrey in Richmond a while ago to have dinner at this cool little place. Something about a really cool elevator...?
It was good times and fantastic food once I found my way there. Stupid 288.
I also went to the beach this weekend with my bestest Jen, my momma, and her best friend. It was very good times. We had PERFECT beach weather on Saturday. Seriously, I couldn't have ordered better weather. It was sunshiney and warm (but not too warm) all day long and the breeze that was blowing was just enough to keep you cool. Jen and I ended up getting in the water, which we said we wouldn't do, but we did, and we had so much fun! Then we ate at Captain George's which is really exciting if you like seafood, but I don't. I dealt with it anyway since everyone else did and the dessert they had was way worth it. That night I ended up sick in bed by 9pm and thats about where I am tonight.
Casey is at Massanutten this week which is WAY exciting news! My hopes are to get the heck better before she heads outta town. In fact, I would love to get better by Thursday so I could bring her to a Blue Sox game! The boys are doing really well! Oh, and for my birthday, Sam hit a home run for me and blew me a kiss AND gave me big hugs. I'm such a dork, haha.
I got a postcard from Tess! It wasn't from Paris, but she was still way sweet to send it to me. I miss that girl.
In fact, I miss all of you so much and cannot wait for our glorious return to CNU.
